Early Beginnings:
Women have been engaged in entrepreneurial activities since ancient times, often running small businesses from their homes or participating in family enterprises. However, historical limitations on women's rights and societal expectations often restricted their opportunities for business ownership and leadership roles.
Emergence of "She-preneurship":
The term "she-preneurship" gained prominence in the late 20th and early 21st centuries as a way to celebrate and support female entrepreneurs. With the advent of the internet and digital technologies, women found new avenues for starting and scaling businesses, often leveraging online platforms and social media to reach global audiences.
